Here's your first look at the hotly anticipated "G.I. Joe" spin-off, starring Henry Golding (Crazy Rich Asians, The Gentlemen) as fan-favorite Ninja Commando "Snake Eyes."

The upcoming Paramount Pictures action movie, for which the first official trailer has been released, explores the mysterious origins of Snake Eyes. This is years before he became known as the silent masked ninja who is one of the original members of the G.I. Joe Team.

Directed by Robert Schwentke (Red, The Divergent Series: Insurgent & Allegiant), the film takes place mostly in Japan where a young loner (codenamed Snake Eyes) finds himself joining an ancient ninja clan called the Arashikage.

In addition to Golding, the cast also includes Andrew Koji (Warrior) as Storm Shadow; Ursula Corbero (Money Heist) as The Baroness; Samara Weaving (Ready or Not) as Scarlett; Haruka Abe (Giri/Haji) as Akiko; Tahehiro Hira (Hara-Kiri: Death of a Samurai) as Kenta; Iko Uwais (The Raid) as Hard Master and Peter Mensah (300) as Blind Master.

"Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins" is being released in theaters on July 23rd. Watch the official trailer, above.
