Netflix has released the official trailer for Part 2 of the hit French crime action-thriller series "Lupin," starring French actor Omar Sy as a master-of-disguise con artist named Assane Diop.

The series, which draws inspiration from the classic French detective "Arsene Lupin, Gentleman Burglar" novels by early 20th-century writer Maurice Leblanc, tells the modern-day revenge story of Assane Diop who has devised an elaborate master plan to exact payback on those who wronged him and those who are responsible for his father's wrongful conviction of a robbery he did not commit.

In Part one of the popular Netflix original series, Assane targets Hubert Pellegrini, a very powerful tycoon who has crooked cops on his payroll. After some close skirmishes, Pellegrini is able to turn the tables on Assane. He kidnaps Assane's innocent teenage son. Part 2 will pick up from there. Assane is now wanted by the police but he must come up with a new plan to save his boy and clear his name.

Created by George Kay (Criminal) and Francois Uzan, the series also stars Ludivine Sagnier, Etan Simon, Fargass Assande, Antoine Gouy, Herve Pierre, Nicole Garcia, Clotilde Hesme, Antoine Gouy, Soufiane Guerrab and Shirine Boutella.

"Lupin Part 2" is set to start streaming on June 11th on Netflix.
