Dylan O'Brien is haunted by his past in this dark, drug-fueled mind-bending thriller for which a trailer has been released.

In "Flashback," the "Maze Runner" star plays Fredrick Fitzell, a young office worker who becomes increasingly tormented by the sins of his teenage past, which included his involvement in the disappearance of a girl from high school who has remained missing for years. The missing girl is played by Maika Monroe, from "It Follows" and "Independence Day: Resurgence."

Obsessed with righting his wrongs, Fredrick tries to retrace the events leading up to the night of the girl's disappearance, which is a memory he can't fully recall. He takes the same psychedelic street drugs that he took years before. And it seemingly blends the present with the past, creating a new time-bending reality. So, what is real and what is memory? And what is present and what is the past?

Co-starring Keir Gilchrist (Atypical), Hannah Gross (Mindhunter), and Emory Cohen (The OA), the hallucinatory thriller is written and directed by filmmaker Christopher MacBride, who previously made the pseudo-documentary "The Conspiracy."

"Flashback" is being released on VOD and Digital on June 4th.
