Check out the official trailer for Season 2 of the critically acclaimed historical crime series "Godfather of Harlem," starring Oscar-winner Forest Whitaker as legendary 1960s Harlem mob boss Bumpy Johnson.

Co-starring "Selma" actor Nigel Thatch as Malcolm X and "Daredevil" actor Vincent D'Onofrio as notorious Italian mobster Vincent "Chin" Gigante, the EPIX original series tells the untold story of how Bumpy Johnson formed an alliance with Black Muslim Leader Malcolm X as they worked together to fight for control of Harlem against the Italian mob.

Season 2 finds Bumpy Johnson, after serving a ten-year prison sentence, returning to the streets of Harlem and reclaiming the control of his old neighborhood from the Italian mafia. His actions have put him in the crosshairs of practically every power-hungry mobster in the city.

Executive produced by Whitaker alongside "Narcos" producers-writers Chris Brancato and Paul Eckstein, the series also co-stars Ilfenesh Hadera (Netflix's She's Gotta Have It), Paul Sorvino (Goodfellas), Kelvin Harrison Jr. (The High Note), Lucy Fry (Bright), Antoinette Crowe-Legacy, Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad), and Chazz Palminteri (A Bronx Tale).

"Godfather of Harlem" returns with its Second Season starting on April 18th on the EPIX network.
