Check out the new official trailer for "The Mauritanian," the legal drama based on the true story about how Mauritanian-born Guantanamo detainee Mohamedou Ould Slahi fought to be released from Guantanamo Bay after being prisoned for over 14 years without charge.

The film, which is currently playing in theaters, recently earned two Golden Globe acting nominations, one for Tahar Rahim (The Looming Tower) who portrays Mohamedou Ould Slahi, and the other for Jodie Foster who plays his fearless defense attorney.

Based on Slahi's best-selling memoir "Guantanamo Diary," the film is directed by acclaimed filmmaker Kevin Macdonald (The Last King of Scotland, State of Play, One Day in September).

Shailene Woodley, Zachary Levi, and Benedict Cumberbatch co-star.

"The Mauritanian" will be available on VOD beginning on March 2rd.
