Check out the official trailer for "Crisis," the upcoming Traffic-like thriller that's set against the backdrop of the opioid epidemic.

Featuring an all-star cast that includes Armie Hammer, Gary Oldman, Evangeline Lilly, Michelle Rodriguez, Greg Kinnear, Luke Evans, Lily-rose Depp, and Scott "Kid Cudi" Mescudi, the film follows three interwoven stories concerning the illegal trafficking of fentanyl, oxycodone, and other opioid drugs.

The film is directed and written by filmmaker Nicholas Jarecki, who previously made the 2012 Richard Gere-starring financial thriller "Arbitrage."

"Crisis" is being released on February 26th in select theaters and then arrives on VOD and Digital on March 5th.

synopsis:
An intense thriller set against the backdrop of the opioid epidemic, CRISIS features three interwoven stories that highlight the greed, violence, and tragedy of the drug war. A drug trafficker arranges a multi-cartel Fentanyl smuggling operation, an architect recovering from an oxycodone addiction tracks down the truth behind her son's disappearance, and a university professor battles unexpected revelations about his employer, a pharmaceutical giant bringing a new "non-addictive" painkiller to market.
