Check out the official trailer for Season 4 of FX's crime series "Snowfall," starring Damson Idris (Outside the Wire), Carter Hudson (The Wilds), and Sergio Peris-Mencheta (Rambo: Last Blood).

Taking place in Los Angeles during the 1985 crack cocaine epidemic in South Central, the drama follows the fictional rise of Franklin Saint (Idris), a streetwise teen-turned-drug-lord who has used his keen intelligence to become one of the biggest crack cocaine suppliers on the West Coast. The story also follows Franklin's ties to the CIA as he was initially recruited by an undercover CIA agent (Hudson) who has established a secret cocaine-smuggling ring as a way to secure guns for the Nicaraguan Contras.

Season 4 will see Franklin emerging from a near-fatal shooting to regain control of the streets just as President Reagan launches his "war on drugs" campaign.

The FX series was co-created and co-executive produced by the now-late "Boyz n the Hood" director John Singleton.

"Snowfall" returns with its Fourth Season beginning on February 24th on FX and on the next day on FX on Hulu.

synopsis:
In Season Four of SNOWFALL, with the entire nation taking note, the LAPD is diverting serious money and resources to the "war on drugs." Franklin will be forced to emerge from his near-grave in order to try and regain control over his business and end the rising gang violence in the streets before it becomes an all-out war.
