Check out the official trailer for the new coming-of-age, high school love story "Young Hearts," which appears to feature a proper cast of real teenage actors.

Produced by brothers/actors/filmmakers Jay and Mark Duplass (Togetherness), the film stars young actors Quinn Liebling (Everything Sucks!) and Anjini Taneja Azhar (Star Trek Into Darkness) as Tilly and Harper, two socially awkward high school students who innocently meet and fall in love while walking to school every day.

Tilly and Harper ultimately become each other's first high school boyfriend and girlfriend. But when their budding relationship suddenly becomes the talk of their school, they are faced with enormous pressure from their so-called friends. A breakup is, perhaps, inevitable.

"Young Hearts" is written by first-time filmmaker Sarah Sherman. She co-directed the movie with her brother Zachary Ray Sherman. Zachary is an actor who has appeared in the CW reboot series "90210" and Netflix's short-lived '90s-set dramedy "Everything Sucks!" Zachary also previously wrote and helmed the indie feature "Barbie's Kenny."

"Young Hearts" is being released on VOD and in select theaters and virtual cinemas starting on February 12th. Watch the trailer, above.
