An official 30-second commercial has been released for the eagerly-awaited Season 2 of "The Mandalorian," featuring a bit of new footage of Mando and his new pint-size green-colored companion.
The hit Disney Plus series will be returning later this month with its second season, continuing the planet-hopping space journey of a no-name Mandalorian bounty hunter (voiced by Pedro Pascal) who becomes the unlikely guardian of a mysterious baby alien, known only as "the Child" but known to Star Wars fans everywhere as "Baby Yoda."
The streaming series, which recently earned several Emmy nominations and won seven Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards for its first season, is executive produced by acclaimed "Star Wars" animator Dave Filoni and self-proclaimed "Star Wars" fanboy/filmmaker Jon Favreau.
Gina Carano and Carl Weathers have returned for Season 2 as badass mercenaries Cara Dune and Greef Karga. They, of course, have become Mando's new bounty-hunting partners helping out as they search for a new safe home for the child. Giancarlo Esposito has also returned as the ruthless main baddie, the Imperial officer Moff Gideon.
"The Mandalorian: Season 2" will start streaming on Friday, October 30th, on Disney Plus.
