A brand-new Season 2 teaser trailer has been released for HBO's fantasy series "His Dark Materials."

Starring Dafne Keen (Logan), Ruth Wilson (The Affair), and Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton), the HBO series is based on Philip Pullman's celebrated fantasy novels about the magical adventures of an English orphan girl named Lyra Belacqua.

Set in a multi-universe reality where each person possesses a spirit animal companion called daemons, Lyra (Keen) is being chased down by the evil power-seeking explorer, Marisa Coulter (Wilson). Lyra is trying to rescue a bundle of kidnapped children while also uncovering a sinister conspiracy that involves a mysterious particle called Dust.

Also starring Amir Wilson (The Letter for the King) and Andrew Scott (Fleabag), "His Dark Materials: Season 2" is expected to premiere in November on HBO and HBO MAX.

Her search for a kidnapped friend uncovers a sinister plot involving stolen children, and becomes a quest to understand a mysterious phenomenon called Dust. As she journeys through the worlds, including our own, Lyra meets Will, a determined and courageous boy. Together, they encounter extraordinary beings and dangerous secrets, with the fate of both the living -- and the dead -- in their hands.
