From visionary filmmaker Ridley Scott comes a new visually stunning science-fiction apocalyptic series for HBO Max, for which a brand-new official trailer has been released.

"Raised by Wolves" is a new, upcoming streaming series which is set in the post-apocalyptic future. Earth has been destroyed by a great war. Humanity has started again at the beginning. A super-advanced female android called "Mother" has been put in charge of raising and protecting a new generation of human children.

Danish actress Amanda Collin (Department Q: A Conspiracy of Faith) stars in the HBO Max series as the super-android "Mother."

"Vikings" star Travis Fimmel co-stars as the main antagonist. He is a ruthless leader of an android-hating army. When they invade the planet, he and his merciless warriors set out to rescue the human children from the androids. They soon realize "Mother" is not an ordinary android. She was specially designed to protect the children from all threats, including humans and other robots. She is all-powerful.

Ridley Scott directs the first two episodes of the series, which was created and written by Aaron Guzikowski, the screenwriter of the Denis Villeneuve-directed thriller "Prisoners."

"Raised by Wolves" is set to premiere on September 3rd, exclusively on HBO Max.
