Check out the official Season 3 trailer for "The Rain," the Danish post-apocalyptic sci-fi thriller about a group of survivors trying to restore what's left of society.
Taking place years after deadly contaminated rain storms nearly killed off the world's population, the Netflix original series started off with the premise of a group of young survivors who were forced to live in underground bunkers for about half a decade.
Once the contamination is clear, they emerge onto the surface to search for salvation and a cure. The story mainly focuses on the complex relationship between a brother and sister, (played by Lucas Lynggaard and Alba August), both of whom are looking for their missing scientist father.
The series is created by Danish television writers Jannik Tai Mosholt (Borgen, Rita), Esben Toft Jacobsen (The Great Bear, Beyond Beyond), and Christian Potalivo (Dicte, The New Tenants).
"The Rain: Season 3" premieres August 6th, only on Netflix.
