Hulu has released the first official teaser for Season 2 of the kooky coming-of-age series "PEN15," in which real-life best friends Maya Erskine and Anna Konkle play semi-fictional versions of themselves as 13-year-old besties attending middle school.
Inspired by Maya and Anna's real-life childhood stories, "PEN15" follows the socially awkward difficulties of two 7th-grade best friends. They are played by Maya and Anna who, with a considerable suspension of disbelief, are interacting with real 13-year-old kid actors.
Co-created by Erskine and Konkle, alongside producer-director Sam Zvibleman, "Pen15" is set to return with its Second Season on September 18th, only on Hulu. Watch the first-look teaser, above.
