Check out the new extended trailer for upcoming Season 2 of the DC superhero series "Doom Patrol."
Based on the DC Comics superhero team of the same name, the darkly comic action series follows the madcap adventures of a group of eccentric superheroes who share an emotionally-scarring past.
The Jeremy Carver-produced series, which was originally launched on the DC Universe streaming service, is coming to the newly-minted HBO MAX platform.
"Doom Patrol" features The Mummy's Brendan Fraser as the voice of Robotman and Magic Mike's Matt Bomer as the voice of Negative Man. Meanwhile, Two and a Half Men's April Bowlby stars as Elasti-Girl; Orange Is the New Black's Diane Guerrero as Crazy Jane and The First Purge's Joivan Wade as a new re-imagined Cyborg.
Leading the group of misfits is a rogue mad scientist named, Dr. Niles Caulder, aka "The Chief." He is played veteran British character actor Timothy Dalton (Penny Dreadful, James Bond).
"Doom Patrol: Season 2" is premiering June 25th on HBO Max, starting with three new episodes, and with weekly new episodes after that.
