These oddball superhero misfits have become more like one big family than a team. But they will still need to put in the effort to rid the world from evil.
Check out the new official trailer for Season 2 of "Doom Patrol," HBO MAX's new streaming action-comedy series based on the DC Comics superhero team of the same name.
The series, executive produced by Jeremy Carver (Supernatural), follows the madcap adventures of an eccentric superhero team of physically and emotionally-scarred outcasts that include Robotman (voiced by The Mummy's Brendan Fraser), Negative Man (voiced by Magic Mike's Matt Bomer), Elasti-Girl (played by Two and a Half Men's April Bowlby), Crazy Jane (played by Orange Is the New Black's Diane Guerrero), and a new re-imagined Cyborg (played by The First Purge's Joivan Wade).
Veteran British actor Timothy Dalton (Penny Dreadful, James Bond) co-stars in the series as Dr. Niles Caulder, aka "The Chief." He is a rogue mad scientist who has recruited each member of the Doom Patrol. They work as a team, secretly operating under the roof of The Chief's well-equipped countryside mansion.
"Doom Patrol: Season 2" is slated to premiere June 25 on HBO Max, starting with three new episodes, and with weekly new episodes after that.
