From Josephine Decker, the acclaimed director of "Madeline's Madeline," comes a stylish psychological drama about a 1960s novelist on the verge of a bitter marital breakdown.

Check out the official trailer for "Shirley," which sees "The Invisible Man" star Elisabeth Moss portraying real-life horror-mystery author Shirley Jackson who is perhaps best known for writing the 1959 Gothic novel "The Haunting of Hill House."

In this fictional biographical film, Shirley is almost finished with writing her latest novel. But when her lecherous professor husband (played by Michael Stuhlbarg) invites a young wide-eyed college couple (Logan Lerman and Odessa Young) to stay with them, Shirley grows more agitated and irate. And family dinners become public drunken squabbles, 'a la "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?"

"Shirley" will be "available everywhere" beginning June 5th. Watch the trailer, above.
