Go behind the scenes of Chris Hemsworth's new action movie for Netflix, which is packed with gunfights, knife fights, and a whole lot of one-take action sequences.
Produced by "Avengers" directors Joe and Anthony Russo, "Extraction" is a new action-packed nail-biting thriller about a mercenary for hire (played by Hemsworth) who is trying to rescue the kidnapped son of an international crime lord, but finds himself stuck behind enemy lines during a citywide lockdown in Bangladesh.
The Netflix film, which is the feature directorial debut of action/stunt coordinator Sam Hargrave (Atomic Blonde, Avengers: Endgame), is loosely based on the graphic novel "Ciudad" co-created by filmmaker Joe Russo, who also wrote the movie's screenplay.
Hemsworth also serves as one of the producers on the film, which co-stars David Harbour, Golshifteh Farahani, Geetanjali Thapa, Randeep Hooda, and Derek Luke.
