Check out the official trailer for Season 4 of the critically acclaimed Anglo-Saxons-versus-Viking-Danes drama "The Last Kingdom," which is premiering on Netflix later this month.

The historical medieval war drama stars Alexander Dreymon as Uhtred of Bebbanburg, the 9th-century Viking warrior who is the son of a Saxon nobleman, but was kidnapped and raised by Viking Danes.

After swearing his allegiance to the late King Alfred of Wessex and fought for the Anglo-Saxons in order to reclaim his birthright, Uhtred now finds himself with no land and no name. Uhtred's loyalty, nevertheless, is tested once again when an army of Viking Danes invades the country in the pursuit of taking Alfred's throne.

Based on Bernard Cornwell's best-selling British historical book series, known in the U.S. as "The Saxon Chronicles," the series also stars Millie Brady, Timothy Innes, Emily Cox, Ian Hart, Eliza Butterworth, and Magnus Bruun.

"The Last Kingdom: Season 4" is due to premiere on Netflix beginning Sunday, April 26th.
