Singer/actress Janelle Monae (Hidden Figures, Moonlight) takes over as the new star of the all-new second season of Amazon's critically acclaimed psychological thriller series "Homecoming," for which an official teaser has been released.
Based on the popular scripted podcast of the same name by Eli Horowitz and Micah Bloomberg, the mind-bending drama revolves around a shadowy mental health and wellness company called the Homecoming Initiative, where they use unconventional methods to treat psychologically-scarred soldiers transiting into civilian life.
The new season will see Stephan James (If Beale Street Could Talk) back as Walter Cruz, a military veteran and a former client of the Homecoming facility. His character will have some connection with Monae's character, an amnesiac woman who is searching for her identity.
Hong Chau (Watchmen, Downsizing) is also returning to the series as Homecoming representative Audrey Temple. Meanwhile, new to the cast of Season 2 is Oscar-winner Chris Cooper and Joan Cusack.
"Homecoming: Season 2" is slated to premiere on May 22nd on Amazon Prime Video.
