Disney has released the official sneak-peek featurette for the upcoming kid fantasy-tinged action-adventure movie "Artemis Fowl."
Directed by Kenneth Branagh (Murder on the Orient Express, Thor), the film is based on the first installment of Eoin Colfer's best-selling book series about a 12-year-old boy who was raised to follow in his father's footsteps and become a criminal mastermind. His skills are put to the test when his father is suddenly kidnapped by magical creatures from a hidden underground fantasy realm inhabited by fairies and trolls.
Newcomer Ferdia Shaw stars in the Disney movie as the titular kid master thief, Artemis Fowl, while Colin Farrell co-stars as Fowl's father.
Other cast members include Nonzo Anozie, Josh Gad, Hong Chau, and Academy Award winner Judi Dench.
Disney's "Artemis Fowl" is scheduled to be released on June 12th on Disney Plus.
