This summer, you can expect to see Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt embarking on the adventure of a lifetime as they go searching for a mythical healing tree in the Amazonian forest.

In the upcoming Disney adventure movie "Jungle Cruise," for which a brand-new official trailer has been released, Johnson plays a brawny riverboat captain who has agreed to take a feisty English explorer (played by Blunt) on a perilous journey across the jungle river in search of a fabled tree with supposed healing powers. But at every turn, they find themselves in grave danger.

"Know this about the jungle," Johnson warns Blunt in the above trailer. "Everything that you see wants to kill you ... and can."

Inspired by the classic Disneyland theme park ride of the same name, the film is directed by Spanish-born action helmer Jaume Collet-Serra, whose credits include "The Shallows," "The Commuter," and "Non-Stop."

Collet-Serra is also slated to work with Johnson again as he's tapped to helm the upcoming DC superhero movie "Black Adam."

"Jungle Cruise" co-stars Jack Whitehall, Paul Giamatti, Jesse Plemons, and Edgar Ramirez. And it's due to open in theaters everywhere in July 2021.
