Check out the new 60-second extended commercial for "A Quiet Place: Part II."
The film, a sequel to the 2018 horror blockbuster, continues the story of Evelyn Abbott (Emily Blunt), a courageous mother trying to keep her young daughter (Millicent Simmonds) and son (Noah Jupe) safe in a post-apocalyptic world that's crawling with sound-sensitive monsters.
John Krasinski, Blunt's real-life husband, is once again behind the camera, directing the sequel from his own script. Krasinski will also appear in the movie, reprising his role as Evelyn's husband, Lee Abbott, in a flashback sequence.
Cillian Murphy (Dunkirk) and Djimon Hounsou (Shazam!) co-star as new post-apocalyptic survivors who end up crossing paths with Evelyn and her children.
"A Quiet Place: Part II" arrives in theaters on May 28, 2021.
synopsis:
Following the deadly events at home, the Abbott family (Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe) must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.
