Here's an early Valentine's treat for all those Batman lovers out there!

Director Matt Reeves, who is currently working on the production of the highly-anticipated DC superhero movie "The Batman," has released a 45-second "camera test" footage, and it's giving fans an early look at the new Batman suit.

Imbued with dark crimson shadows, the sneak peek preview is basically a chest-to-head shot of actor Robert Pattinson donning a new costume design of the iconic Batman cowl, which appears to be more sleek and aerodynamic rather than bulky and brawny.

As of yet, the plot for the film is being kept under tight wraps. Although we do know that Robert Pattinson has been cast to star as Bruce Wayne aka Batman.

Director Matt Reeves, who also co-wrote the script, had said he envisioned a different type of Batman, one who relies heavily on his detective skills. Which makes sense since the iconic comic book character is often referred to as "The World's Greatest Detective."

Meanwhile, other cast members include Andy Serkis as loyal butler Alfred Pennyworth; Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot aka The Penguin; Zoe Kravitz as Selina Kyle aka Catwoman; John Turturro as Gotham mobster Carmine Falcone; Paul Dano as Edward Nashton aka The Riddler; Peter Sarsgaard as District Attorney Gil Colson, and finally, Jeffrey Wright as detective James Gordon.

"The Batman" is currently in production and won't be coming to theaters until next summer. It's currently slated for June 25, 2021.
