Pitch Perfect's Brittany Snow plays a recovering sex addict who goes on an unconventional road trip with a cancer-stricken stranger in the kooky rom-com "Hooking Up."

Also starring comedian Sam Richardson (Veep, Detroiters), the sex-centric comedy sees Snow as a magazine writer who, after getting fired for her out-of-control behavior, joins a therapy group for sex addiction.

But when she randomly bumps into a stranger who was recently diagnosed with testicular cancer (played by Richardson), she instantly comes up with an idea to win back her job and also confront her troubled past at the same time -- she will take a cross-country road trip to retrace her sexual history and relive those sexual experiences with her new cancer-stricken friend, while the same time, write a personal daily blog for the magazine.

Directed by Nico Raineau and co-written by Raineau and Lauren Schacher (creators of the web series "F-ck Yes"), "Hooking Up" also co-stars Jordana Brewster, Vivica A. Fox, and Amy Pietz.

synopsis:
Bailey (Sam Richardson) and Darla (Brittany Snow) embark upon a misguided and mutually deceitful form of therapy, one in which they must drive across the country re-enacting Darla's colorful history as a sex addict. As their true motivations for the road trip come to light, the unlikely pair force one another to confront their issues, discovering that there might actually be more to love than just sex.
