Elisabeth Moss finds herself being terrorized by her abusive ex-boyfriend who happens to be an invisible man in this new 30-second commercial for the upcoming Blumhouse-produced horror thriller.

The Emmy-winning "The Handmaid's Tale" star plays a terrified woman whose sanity is tested when her abusive scientist ex-boyfriend appears to have faked his own death and is now invisible in this modern re-imagining of the classic Universal monster movie, "The Invisible Man."

Australian-born actor/filmmaker Leigh Whannell, who is the co-creator of the "Saw" franchise and most recently directed last year's cult sci-fi action thriller "Upgrade," directs and writes this contemporary horror remake, which also stars Aldis Hodge (Straight Outta Compton) and Storm Reid (Euphoria) with Oliver Jackson-Cohen (The Haunting of Hill House) as the titular invisible man.

"The Invisible Man" opens February 28th. Watch the new spot, above.

Trapped in a violent, controlling relationship with a wealthy and brilliant scientist, Cecilia Kass (Moss) escapes in the dead of night and disappears into hiding, aided by her sister (Harriet Dyer), their childhood friend (Aldis Hodge) and his teenage daughter (Storm Reid).

But when Cecilia's abusive ex (Oliver Jackson-Cohen) commits suicide and leaves her a generous portion of his vast fortune, Cecilia suspects his death was a hoax.
