FX has released the first official trailer for the eagerly awaited Season 4 of the Emmy-winning anthology crime series "Fargo," which stars Chris Rock as the head of a powerful African American crime family in 1950 Kansas City, Missouri.

Set against the era of the Jim Crow South, this new season focuses on a tense standoff between two warring criminal families (a local African American crime family and the Italian mafia) in Kansas City.

Emmy-winning series creator Noah Hawley wrote the new ten-episode season. He also directs the first couple episodes of the offbeat comedy series, which features an all-new ensemble cast that includes the likes of Jason Schwartzman, Glynn Turman, Ben Whishaw, Jessie Buckley, Timothy Olyphant, Uzo Aduba, Jack Huston, and more.

"Fargo: Season 4" is scheduled to premiere later this year on both FX and FX on Hulu.

synopsis:
The fourth installment of FARGO is set in 1950 Kansas City, where two criminal syndicates fighting for a piece of the American dream have struck an uneasy peace.
