Elijah Wood has a creepy reunion with his long lost father in the official trailer for the darkly comic horror thriller "Come To Daddy."

The "Lord Of The Rings" star plays a thirty-something man who, after receiving a cryptic letter from his long-estranged father, shows up at his cabin door for an unplanned reunion. Once there, he and his dad try to make amends. That's until his father reveals himself to be a real nasty scumbag with homicidal tendencies.

Canadian character actor Stephen McHattie (Orphan Black, Watchmen, Pontypool) stars opposite Elijah Wood, playing his aforementioned deadly daddy dearest.

The horror film is the feature directorial debut of indie genre filmmaker Ant Timpson, who previously served as the producer of the cult films "Turbo Kid," "Housebound," and "The Greasy Strangler."

Co-starring Martin Donovan, Michael Smiley, Madeleine Sami, and Simon Chin, "Come To Daddy" is being released in select theaters and on VOD beginning February 7, 2020.

COME TO DADDY stars Elijah Wood (The Lord Of The Rings) as a man in his thirties who receives a cryptic invitation to a remote cabin for a visit with his father after a lifetime of estrangement.

Norval Greenwood, a privileged man-child arrives at the beautiful and remote coastal cabin of his estranged father. He quickly discovers that not only is his dad a jerk, but he also has a shady past that is rushing to catch up with both of them. Now, hundreds of miles from his cushy comfort zone, Norval must battle with demons, both real and perceived, in order to reconnect with a father he barely knows.
