Comedians Rob Huebel and Erinn Hayes are crime-fighting cops! Aaaand they are also life-saving doctors! Yes, that's right, they're "cop doctors"!

And they're trying to save the planet from a deadly global virus in this new Netflix spoof series "Medical Police," which comes from the creators of the cult comedy series "Childrens Hospital."

Check out the first official trailer for this "totally-not-a-spinoff" parody show, which has "Childrens Hospital" stars Rob Huebel and Erinn Hayes reprising their roles as doctors Owen Maestro and Lola Spratt. This time, however, these two are also moonlighting as CSI-like police detectives as they try to track down a deadly biological weapon.

The Netflix series will feature cameos from "Childrens Hospital" alums Ken Marino, Rob Corddry, and Malin Akerman, as well as appearances by Sarayu Blue, Fred Melamed, Craig Robinson, and Jason Schwartzman.

"Medical Police" premieres January 10th, only on Netflix.

From the creators of Childrens Hospital (starring Rob Huebel and Erinn Hayes) comes the totally-not-a-spinoff Medical Police (also starring Rob Huebel and Erinn Hayes).

Doctors Owen Maestro and Lola Spratt leave Childrens Hospital and join a secret arm of the CDC to investigate and destroy a deadly global virus.
