All hail, Daniel Radcliffe! He's nothing like his father. But, one day, he will rule the kingdom with an iron fist ... or maybe just an iron-plated finger. Who knows?

Check out the official trailer for "Miracle Workers: Dark Ages," the second season of the TBS anthology comedy series that once again stars Daniel Radcliffe, Steve Buscemi, "Blockers" breakout Geraldine Viswanathan, and "Deadpool" sidekick Karan Soni.

Executive produced by SNL honcho Lorne Michaels, the series is created and written by former SNL comedy writer Simon Rich, who is also the creator of the FXX dating comedy "Man Seeking Woman."

The first season of the series was based on Simon Rich's acclaimed comedy novel about two low-level angels who, while working at a badly mismanaged corporation in Heaven, get assigned to handle all of humanity's prayers.

While featuring most of the same cast, Season Two has been totally reconstructed, switching from Heaven to the Dark Ages -- with Radcliffe playing a young, halfwitted prince who takes over his father's kingdom in a time of great inequality and stupidity.

Jon Bass (Baywatch) and Lolly Adefope (Shrill) have also returned to co-star in the series, which adds Peter Serafinowicz (The Tick) who plays Radcliffe's evil father, the King.

"Miracle Workers: Dark Ages" is set to premiere Tuesday, January 28, 2020 on TBS.

synopsis:
