Hulu has released the first official teaser for the second season of the critically acclaimed comedy series "Shrill," starring SNL cast member Aidy Bryant as a twenty-something online reporter who, while coming to terms with her own fears and insecurities, has become a body-positive advocate.
Executive produced by Elizabeth Banks and SNL honcho Lorne Michaels, the streaming series is loosely based on the biographical book "Shrill: Notes from a Loud Woman" by Lindy West, who is also credited as the show's creator.
Season 2 will find Bryant's Annie Easton leaving her job at a rinky-dink online paper to pursue her dream of becoming a full-time columnist.
Co-starring Lolly Adefope, Luka Jones, and John Cameron Mitchell, "Shrill" returns with its Second Season on January 24, 2020, only on Hulu.
