A brand-new official TV spot has been released for "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker," which is the epic conclusion of the Skywalker saga.
"Let the final battle begin," says a gravelly and raspy voice that sounds a whole lot like Emperor Palpatine (Ian McDiarmid), who is thought to be dead, but appears to be playing a large part in this final chapter.
With a smattering of new footage, the clip hints on an epic battle as Rey (Daisy Ridley), Finn (John Boyega), Poe (Oscar Isaac), and the rest of the Resistance army vow never to surrender to the First Order and their leader Kylo Ren (Adam Driver).
"We make our last stand," Poe says in defiance as he rallies the troops for one final charge.
Directed by "Force Awakens" helmer J.J. Abrams, "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker" opens December 20th.
