Netflix has released several official behind-the-scenes featurettes for "The Irishman," director Martin Scorsese's critically-acclaimed mob saga that stars Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Joe Pesci, Ray Romano, Jesse Plemons, and Anna Paquin.

Based on Charles Brandt's best-selling biographical book "I Heard You Paint Houses" about the life of notorious mob hitman Frank "The Irishman" Sheeran, who worked for the Bufalino crime family and also became a close associate of legendary Teamsters union leader Jimmy Hoffa, the three-and-a-half hour film is now available to stream on Netflix.

Noted for its digital effects for de-aging its main actors, namely De Niro and Pacino, the Netflix original film is being tipped as a top Oscar contender and has been hailed as one of Scorsese's best movies since "Goodfellas" and "Casino." So, what are you waiting for? Go watch it now!

synopsis:
Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Joe Pesci star in Martin Scorsese's THE IRISHMAN, an epic saga of organized crime in post-war America told through the eyes of World War II veteran Frank Sheeran, a hustler and hitman who worked alongside some of the most notorious figures of the 20th Century.

Spanning decades, the film chronicles one of the greatest unsolved mysteries in American history, the disappearance of legendary union boss Jimmy Hoffa, and offers a monumental journey through the hidden corridors of organized crime: its inner workings, rivalries and connections to mainstream politics.
