Watch Rey (Daisy Ridley), Finn (John Boyega), Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac), C-3PO (Anthony Daniels), and Chewbacca (Joonas Suotamo) as they try to outrun a couple of Stormtroopers on a desert speeder in the first official film clip from "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker."
"We've spotted the fugitives," a Stormtrooper declares while speaking into his communicator as this 30-second clip starts off.
While speeding through a vast rocky desert field, Rey, Finn, Poe, Chewbacca, and C-3PO are trying to shake off a couple of determined Stormtroopers who are nipping right at their heels.
And just when we think our heroes have gotten the upper hand, the Stormtroopers click on their jet packs. And Zoooom! Just like that, we see a Stormtrooper blasting off into the sky.
"Oh! They fly now!" C-3PO screams in disgust. So, beware of those pesky flying Stormtroopers with jet packs -- you'll never know where they will strike next!
"Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker" opens December 20th.
