Every Jedi must confront their fear, says the new 30-second commercial for "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker."

Mark Hamill narrates as Luke Skywalker in this new "Star Wars" preview. "Confronting fear is the destiny of the Jedi," says Skywalker as we assume he's talking about the destiny of force-sensitive scavenger-turned-Jedi-in-training leader Rey (Daisy Ridley).

The clip offers a bit of new footage, hinting on an epic battle between Rey and First Order leader Kylo Ren (Adam Driver). And from the looks of things, this appears to be the final confrontation between the Resistance and the First Order. As C-3PO ( Anthony Daniels) forewarns in the promo: "If this mission fails, it was all for nothing." (Well, you can say that again.)

Directed by "Force Awakens" helmer J.J. Abrams, this final chapter of the Skywalker saga also stars John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Kelly Marie Tran, Naomi Ackie, Joonas Suotamo, with Billy Dee Williams back as Lando Calrissian and the late, Carrie Fisher as Leia Organa.

"Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker" opens everywhere on December 20th.
