Chadwick Boseman shuts down the entire island of Manhattan as he tries to catch an elusive pair of cop killers in the final trailer for "21 Bridges."
The "Black Panther" star plays a hard-boiled New York detective who is put in charge of hunting down two cop killers on the loose, played by Stephan James (If Beale Street Could Talk) and Taylor Kitsch (Waco).
Taking place over the course of one tense-filled night, the manhunt thriller follows Boseman's detective character as he finds himself unraveling a citywide conspiracy, while trying to catch a couple of fugitive killers by closing off all bridges to Manhattan.
Produced by "Avengers: Infinity Wars" and "Endgame" directors Anthony and Joe Russo, the film also co-stars Oscar-winner JK Simmons and Sienna Miller (American Sniper).
Acclaimed television director Brian Kirk (Game of Thrones, Penny Dreadful, Boardwalk Empire) directed the thriller, which was written by Adam Mervis and Matthew Michael Carnahan.
"21 Bridges" is due to open in theaters on November 22nd.
synopsis:
21 BRIDGES follows an embattled NYPD detective (Chadwick Boseman), who is thrust into a citywide manhunt for a pair of cop killers after uncovering a massive and unexpected conspiracy. As the night unfolds, lines become blurred on who he is pursuing, and who is in pursuit of him.
When the search intensifies, extreme measures are taken to prevent the killers from escaping Manhattan as the authorities close all 21 BRIDGES to prevent any entry or exit from the iconic island.
