Code 8 — Official Teaser

The official teaser has been released for "Code 8," the new sci-fi action thriller starring real-life cousins, Stephen Amell (star of CW's Arrow) and Robbie Amell (from The Flash and The X-Files).

The film, directed by Jeff Chan and written by Chris Pare, the team behind the viral short "Call of Duty: Operation Kingfish," is the feature length version of a 2016 proof-of-concept short of the same name, which launched a successful crowdfunding campaign.

Executive produced by the Amell cousins, "Code 8" is set in a not-too-distant future where four percent of the world's population is born with varying supernatural abilities. And as a result, the police department has become extremely militarized, complete with high-tech drones and robot officers.

Robbie Amell plays a two-bit delinquent with superpowers who finds himself hunted down by the military police. Sung Kang (from the "Fast & Furious" films) co-stars as a police detective.

"Code 8" is scheduled to be released in theaters and on VOD.
