Netflix has released the official trailer for Season 3 of the popular teen murder-mystery series "13 Reasons Why," starring Dylan Minnette as Clay Jensen, an emotionally confused high school student who persistently finds himself grappling with grief and cynicism because of the questionable actions of his fellow classmates and schoolteachers.

The streaming series, executive produced and developed by acclaimed playwright Brian Yorkey and based on the best-selling young adult novel of the same name by Jay Asher, started things off with the mystery surrounding the suicide death of Clay's school friend and school crush Hannah Baker (played by Katherine Langford).

And while Season One and Two dealt with the aftermath of Hannah's shocking suicide and the public reveal of the teenager who was responsible for her sexual assault, it seems Season Three will deal with the mystery surrounding the unsolved murder of Hannah's sexual attacker -- high school football star and entitled rich kid Bryce Walker (played by Justin Prentice).

So, does this mean that Clay is considered to be one of the murder suspects? But if he didn't do it, then "Who killed Bryce Walker?"

Among those returning to the cast are Brandon Flynn (as Justin Foley), Alisha Boe (as Jessica Davis), Christian Navarro (as Tony Padilla), Miles Heizer (as Alex Standall), Devin Druid (as Tyler Down), Ross Butler (as Zach Dempsey), Timothy Granaderos (as Montgomery de la Cruz), and Anne Winters (as Chloe), with Steven Weber back as Principle Bowen, Brenda Strong as Mrs. Walker, and Amy Hargreaves as Mrs. Jensen.

"13 Reasons Why: Season 3" premieres August 23rd, only on Netflix.
