A 50-year-old Will Smith goes toe to toe with a 23-year-old version of himself in the new official trailer for the assassin-versus-clone action-thriller "Gemini Man."
In a year where we have already seen Will Smith as a computer-generated blue genie, the Hollywood star will once again be digitally recreated -- though this time, he has been digitally transformed into his younger self. It's the Fresh Prince all over again.
From Oscar-winning filmmaker Ang Lee (Life of Pi, Brokeback Mountain, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon) and famed action-flick producer Jerry Bruckheimer (Bad Boys, Pirates of the Caribbean, Armageddon, etc.), "Gemini Man" follows an elite government assassin (Smith) as he discovers a genetically identical clone of his younger self (motion-captured by Smith) was created by his old nemesis (Clive Owen) and is now out to kill him.
Co-starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Birds of Prey, 10 Cloverfield Lane) and Benedict Wong (Avengers: Endgame, Deadly Class) as a couple of agents who team up with the older Will Smith, "Gemini Man" is hitting theaters October 11th.
