With "Game of Thrones" now gone, what does a fantasy-genre fan watch next? Well, it seems Netflix has a really cool recommendation for ya! And it just might fill that Winterfell-size hole in your heart.

Check out the official Comic-Con trailer for "The Witcher," Netflix's new adult medieval fantasy-horror series, in which Henry Cavill (Mission: Impossible - Fallout, Man of Steel) stars as Geralt of Rivia, a traveling monster slayer for hire who teams up with a sorceress and a young princess as they embark on an epic quest to rid their kingdom of evil.

Based on the global best-selling fantasy novel series by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski, which was also developed into a popular fantasy action role-playing video game, "The Witcher" was developed into a Netflix series by executive producer/writer/showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich (Daredevil, The Defenders, The Umbrella Academy).

In addition to Cavill, the cast includes Freya Allan, Jodhi May, Bjorn Hlynur Haraldsson, Adam Levy, Anya Chalotra, and MyAnna Buring.

Acclaimed television director and Emmy-winning cinematographer Alik Sakharov (House of Cards, Ozark, Game of Thrones) is directing the first two episodes of the eight-part series, which is due to premiere in December, only on Netflix.
