To hunt down an elusive pair of cop killers, "Black Panther" star Chadwick Boseman will have to shut down the entire island of Manhattan, including closing off the four tunnels, the three rivers and all of its twenty-one bridges.
Check out the new official Comic-Con trailer for "21 Bridges," the upcoming, new suspenseful crime thriller about a night-long police manhunt led by a hard-boiled New York detective (Boseman), who unexpectedly finds himself unraveling a citywide conspiracy.
The film is produced by brothers Anthony and Joe Russo, the visionary directors of "Avengers: Infinity Wars" and "Endgame."
Stephan James (If Beale Street Could Talk) and Taylor Kitsch (Waco) co-star as the two heavily-armed criminals on the run.
Rounding out the cast are Oscar-winner JK Simmons and Sienna Miller (American Sniper) as police detectives who want to see things end as quickly as possible.
The cop thriller is directed by acclaimed television director Brian Kirk, who has helmed numerous episodes of "Game of Thrones," "Penny Dreadful," "Luther," and "Boardwalk Empire."
"21 Bridges" arrives in theaters on November 22.
synopsis:
21 BRIDGES follows an embattled NYPD detective (Chadwick Boseman), who is thrust into a citywide manhunt for a pair of cop killers after uncovering a massive and unexpected conspiracy. As the night unfolds, lines become blurred on who he is pursuing, and who is in pursuit of him.
When the search intensifies, extreme measures are taken to prevent the killers from escaping Manhattan as the authorities close all 21 BRIDGES to prevent any entry or exit from the iconic island.
