"Hunger Games" alum Liam Hemsworth plays a New York money launderer who gets into a car crash, only to wake up with no memory of his criminal past in the first official trailer for "Killerman."

Set to make its world premiere next month at the Fantasia International Film Festival, the crime thriller follows Moe Diamond (Hemsworth), a two-bit criminal who, while being pursued by dirty cops, gets into a bad car accident. When he wakes up in the hospital, Moe discovers that he doesn't remember anything, not even his name.

That's until, his partner-in-crime (played here by Emory Cohen, from "Brooklyn" and "Lords of Chaos"), reminds him that he's a money launderer who has just took a whole bunch of dirty money from crooked cops -- and now they want them both dead.

Co-starring Diane Guerrero (from "Doom Patrol" and "Orange Is the New Black") with Suraj Sharma (from "Life of Pi") and Zlatko Buric (from "Pusher"), "Killerman" is written and directed by filmmaker Malik Bader, who previously made the indie crime thriller "Cash Only."

The film is scheduled to open in select U.S. theaters on August 30th. Watch the trailer, above.
