Oooh! Shut your mouth! A profanity-laced final trailer has just been released for "Shaft," the latest installment in the detective action film series featuring the world's coolest private-eye, who is once again played by the world's coolest actor Samuel L. Jackson.

In this Tim Story-directed comedic sequel to the 2000 redo by the late, great director John Singleton, Jackson reprises his role as John Shaft, "the black James Bond," a streetwise private investigator who, this time around, finds himself trying to solve a murder while working alongside his nerdy, M.I.T.-educated son, JJ, aka John Shaft Jr. (played by Independence Day: Resurgence's Jessie T. Usher).

Veteran actor Richard Roundtree also co-stars in the film, again playing the older, original Shaft.

Written by "Black-ish" creator Kenya Barris and "The Goldbergs" writer Alex Barnow, the film also features Regina Hall (Girls Trip) as Shaft's former flame and JJ's mother, while Alexandra Shipp (Dark Phoenix) plays JJ's love interest.

"Shaft" opens nationwide on June 14th.

synopsis:
SHAFT is the next chapter in the film franchise featuring the coolest private eye on any New York City block.

JJ, aka John Shaft Jr. (Jessie T. Usher), may be a cyber security expert with a degree from MIT, but to uncover the truth behind his best friend's untimely death, he needs an education only his dad can provide. Absent throughout JJ's youth, the legendary locked-and-loaded John Shaft (Samuel L. Jackson) agrees to help his progeny navigate Harlem's heroin-infested underbelly. And while JJ's own FBI analyst's badge may clash with his dad's trademark leather coat, there's no denying family. Besides, Shaft's got an agenda of his own, and a score to settle that's professional and personal.
