Disney has released a brand-new commercial for "Lion King," the forthcoming remake of the 1994 animated classic about a young lion prince named Simba who is forced to leave his African home by his evil uncle, only to return years later where he ends up taking his rightful place on the throne.
"Simba, you must remember who you are," James Earl Jones says in the above spot. "The one, true king."
Jones once again lends his rich, baritone voice to King Mufasa, Simba's father, in this much-buzzed-about redo, which was digitally recreated and features a litany of photorealistic computer-generated animals.
Jon Favreau, the director of Disney's hit "Jungle Book" remake and the Marvel blockbuster "Iron Man," helms the film, which also stars Donald Glover as Prince Simba; Alfre Woodard as Simba's Queen mother, Sarabi; Chiwetel Ejiofor as Simba's evil uncle, Scar, and and Beyonce Knowles-Carter as Nala, Simba's childhood sweetheart.
"The Lion King" arrives in theaters on July 19th.
