Maya Erskine (co-star and co-creator of the hit Hulu comedy series "PEN15") stars alongside Jack Quaid (co-star of the forthcoming Amazon superhero series "The Boys") as a couple of old college buddies who agree to attend a series of friends' weddings together as platonic dates in this classic will-they-won't-they rom-com, for which an official trailer has been released.

Set over the course of one memorable summer filled with wedding parties and family dinners, "Plus One" follows Alice and Ben (Erskine and Quaid), two twenty-something singles -- she's an adorably outrageous lush and he's a brooding lonely-heart -- who find themselves in a similar situation: All their friends are getting married around the same time, and they don't have any dates for the weddings. So, they end up going as each other's plus ones.

The thing is, Alice and Ben are total opposites, but they are also perfect for each other. It's just that they don't know it quite yet. And they will need to go on a couple of platonic wedding dates before they realize they're soulmates.

Co-starring Ed Begley Jr. (Arrested Development), Rosalind Chao (The Joy Luck Club), and SNL cast member Beck Bennett, "Plus One" is written and directed by first-time filmmakers Jeff Chan and Andrew Rhymer, who previously wrote together an episode of "PEN15."

The romantic comedy, which won the Audience Award at this year's Tribeca Film Festival, is hitting theaters and VOD June 14th. Watch the trailer, above.
