Here's the first look at Emmy-winning "Breaking Bad" star Aaron Paul in the first ever footage from the much-anticipated third season of HBO's acclaimed sci-fi series "Westworld," which seems to be stepping away from the virtual world of the old west.

Judging by the newly-released teaser trailer, Paul appears to be playing a blue-collar construction worker in a futuristic metropolis, who secretly moonlights as a professional thief, running with a small crew of robbers (played here by Ready Player One's Lena Waithe, football star Marshawn Lynch, and rapper/actor Kid Cudi).

"Sometimes, it seems like the world looks alright," Aaron Paul narrates in the above teaser, which is set to the Pink Floyd song, "Brain Damage." He continues: "But inside, it's rotting to pieces."

We follow Paul and his crew as they do some light larceny, breaking into and stealing from a public vault. A gun is then pointed to his face. A double cross? Possibly.

We then see Paul as he steps into a walk-through tunnel at night. On the other side, he sees a mysterious woman crouching down in pain and leaning on the wall.

Paul narrates, "I think I'm going to get on with my life, I'm going to have to find something ... someone ... real."

"Do you need some help?" He asks the woman. She steps into the light, revealing herself to be Westworld android host Dolores (played by Evan Rachel Wood).

From creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, "Westworld: Season 3" is slated for a 2020 release. Watch the teaser, above.
