The official trailer has been released for Cinemax's new crime-noir series "Jett," starring Carla Gugino, from "Sin City," "Watchmen," and most recently Netflix's hit horror series "The Haunting of Hill House."

Gugino plays world-class jewel thief Daisy "Jett" Kowalski. After being released from prison, Jett just wants to keep things "real simple" and just focus on things like "work, family, home."

While caring for her young daughter, Jett is pulled back into the criminal lifestyle, forced to work for nefarious gangsters who command her to steal various valuable items from highly secured storage rooms.

Co-starring "Breaking Bad" and "Better Call Saul" actor Giancarlo Esposito, who plays one of the many dangerous criminals, "Jett" is created, written and directed by Sebastian Gutierrez, Gugino's longtime partner who is known for writing the screenplays for "Gothika" and "Snakes on a Plane." He also wrote and directed the indie films "Elektra Luxx," "Hotel Noir," "Girl Walks Into a Bar," and "Elizabeth Harvest."

"Jett: Season 1" is premiering Friday, June 14th, only on Cinemax.
