"Luke Cage" star Mike Colter goes from superhero to supernatural as he plays an exorcist priest in the first official trailer for the new CBS fall horror series "Evil," which hails from Robert and Michelle King, the husband-and-wife creators of "The Good Wife," "The Good Fight," and "BrainDead."

Also starring Katja Herbers (from "Westworld" and "The Leftovers") as a skeptical psychologist who is tasked with determining if a murderer is clinically insane or not, the series is kind of like in the vein of X-Files, but instead of dealing with aliens and UFOs, the subject matter revolves around demonic possessions and exorcisms.

Co-starring Michael Emerson (from "Lost" and "Person of Interest") and Aasif Mandvi (from "The Daily Show"), "Evil" is slated to premiere sometime in the fall on CBS, as part of its new fall show line-up. To watch more CBS fall show trailers, click here.

EVIL is a psychological mystery that examines the origins of evil along the dividing line between science and religion. The series focuses on a skeptical female psychologist who joins a priest-in-training and a carpenter as they investigate the Church's backlog of unexplained mysteries, including supposed miracles, demonic possessions and hauntings. Their job is to assess if there's a logical explanation or if something truly supernatural is at work.
