From acclaimed documentary filmmaker Morgan Neville, whose credits include the hit Fred Rogers biography "Won't You Be My Neighbor" and the Oscar-and-Grammy-winning music documentary "20 Feet From Stardom," comes a new Showtime docu-series that chronicles the life and career of legendary music producer, Def Jam co-founder, and self-made spiritual guru Rick Rubin.

"To suspend the disbelief of what's possible -- these things that we can't explain that happen regularly, we might be able to create an environment that is conducive to happening" Rubin says cryptically in the above teaser for the upcoming four-part documentary "Shangri-La," which will also delve into Rubin's laid-back philosophies and new-age beliefs.

Featuring exclusive intimate interviews with Rubin, "Shangri-La" is scheduled to premiere sometime this summer on Showtime. Watch the official teaser, above.
