"The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert" director Stephan Elliott reunites with actor Guy Pearce for this quirky 1970s-set Australian comedy that revolves around the dysfunctional suburban lives of three swinging, boozing couples and their adolescent children.

Check out the official U.S. trailer for "Swinging Safari," which sees Pearce and pop-singer Kylie Minogue as a couple of 1970s swingers who try to engage in non-monogamous activities with their funny-loving neighbors, played by Radha Mitchell (Olympus Has Fallen), Julian McMahon (Nip/Tuck), Asher Keddie (X-Men Origins: Wolverine), and Jeremy Sims (Beneath Hill 60).

The film, which also co-stars veteran Aussie actor Jack Thompson (Wake in Fright), is set during a wild, booze-fueled summer in which townspeople try to explode a dead beached whale, which is inspired by a real-life incident that happened in Oregon in 1970.

"Swinging Safari" is expected to hit U.S. theaters and VOD next month, starting on June 21st.

synopsis:
1970s Australia: A 200-ton blue whale washes up on a local beach and it's the biggest thing that's ever happened in the lives of the local kids. Behind closed doors, the parents of this quiet suburban cul-de-sac celebrate in their own special way... It's a time of boxed wine, bad hair, bad styles, bad choices, but good times. And like the rotting whale, it's all about to go spectacularly wrong.
