IT Chapter Two — Official Teaser Trailer

added: Thu, May 9th '19

Beverly and the rest of the Losers Club are back! And it's been almost three decades since they were last seen together in their hometown of Derry, Maine. They're all grown up, now. Grown adults. But no matter what age they are, they will never forget Pennywise, nor should they.

Behold the very first official teaser trailer for "IT Chapter Two," the highly anticipated sequel to 2017's horror blockbuster based on Stephen King's classic 1000-page plus novel, which has been adapted into two parts.

Bill Skarsgard returns to play Pennywise, the terrifying child-killing clown who was defeated 27 years ago, yet has returned to Derry to wreak havoc one more time.

Playing the adult versions of the Losers Club are Jessica Chastain (as Beverly), James McAvoy (as Bill), Bill Hader (as Richie), James Ransone (as Eddie), Isaiah Mustafa (as Mike), Jay Ryan (as Ben), and Andy Bean (as Stanley).

Meanwhile, the kids who starred in the first movie are also back: Sophia Lillis (as Beverly), Jaeden Martell (as Bill), Finn Wolfhard (as Richie), Jack Dylan Grazer (as Eddie), Chosen Jacobs (as Mike), Jeremy Ray Taylor (as Ben), and Wyatt Oleff (as Stanley).

"IT Chapter One" director Andy Muschietti directs the sequel from an adapted screenplay by horror scribe Gary Dauberman (IT, Annabelle Film Series).

"IT Chapter Two" is due to premiere in theaters September 6th. Watch the trailer, above.

Evil resurfaces in Derry as director Andy Muschietti reunites the Losers Club -- young and adult -- in a return to where it all began with "It Chapter Two."

The film is Muschietti's follow-up to 2017's critically acclaimed and massive worldwide box office hit "IT," which grossed over $700 million globally. Both redefining and transcending the genre, "IT" became part of the cultural zeitgeist as well as the highest-grossing horror film of all time.

Because every 27 years evil revisits the town of Derry, Maine, "It Chapter Two" brings the characters -- who've long since gone their separate ways -- back together as adults, nearly three decades after the events of the first film.
